Ensures that the Asset team Databases are up-to-date.
Quality Checks and loads all newly acquired data to the Asset Database.
Contributes to a consistent Data Management strategy and deployment across Addax Petroleum Development Nigeria Limited.
Ensures data are delivered to both internal and external customers (APS, NNPC and DPR, etc.) as required.
Ensures easy retrieval of data from databases.
1.Ensures QC and loading of digital log data to Asset Databases.
2.Applies rigorous data management procedures.
3.Primarily responsible for maintaining data integrity and accessibility to Petrophysical, Geoscience Reservoir Engineering, and Production Technology data bases.
4.Ensures that prescribed guidelines for data Management are adhered to, and promote the application of these guidelines by users.
5.Liaise with IT department to maintain adequate infrastructure service levels in support of storage of Asset Management data.
6.Maintain and ensure integrity and update of APDNL’s Asset Management digital / analogue data store.
7.Responsible for arranging and managing smooth and timely data transfers between APD (N) L, APE(N)L and APS, Regulatory Agencies.
8.Keep an inventory of available data and data transfers.
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS/PERFORMANCE GOALS
1.No fatalities, Zero LTI’s.
2.Accurate and timely monthly reporting on status, cost and schedule (both actuals and forecast).
3.All contract tendering and awards in place in accordance with Project schedule (in so much as these can be controlled by PMT).
4.Full project delivery in accordance with agreed overall schedule and budget, and to level of quality as required by Company standards.
5.Both NAPIMS and AFE approvals secured ahead of making commitments including any revisions.
6.Project Closeout reports to be issued no later than 3 months after startup.
7.Formally close-out all contracts within 6 months of Project startup.
1.Accountable for the execution of assigned projects typically ranging from $US 10 – 100 million.
2.Responsible for engineering/construction contracts ranging from $US 50,000 upwards.
Degree in an engineering or relevant technical discipline.
Membership of a relevant Professional Institution preferred but not essential.
Minimum of 7 years experience in project, engineering and construction management in the upstream oil and gas industry (both onshore and offshore).
Previous direct experience in offshore facilities construction work, especially installation of platforms and laying pipelines, as well as working on facilities expansions where simultaneous production and construction operations are required.
Previous experience of working in Nigeria is preferred but not essential.
Previous experience working internationally is a prerequisite.
Managed multidiscipline teams of diverse cultural backgrounds.
Computer literate (including sound working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Project ).
KEY COMPETENCIES REQUIREMENTS:
The ability to communicate well and get along well with other team members and functional peers, the ability to work independently within an integrated team and the willingness to seek guidance when needed are essential.
Good understanding of Petrophysical, Geoscience and Production Engineering data architecture.
High computer literacy.
A good knowledge of different evaluation and Data Management packages.
A degree in any of the Engineering disciplines, Geo-sciences: Geology, Geophysics or Surveying and Applied Sciences: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Computer Science.
Five years oil and gas industry experience, including data management experience for a minimum of two years. Experience in Petrophysics and/or Geoscience evaluations will be an advantage.
