DP Services,Lifecycle Sales Manager–MEATI

Role Summary/Purpose:             

The Lifecycle Sales Specialists will be responsible for expanding CSA penetration within their target region – focusing on translating Distributed Power’s offerings into a value-sell that will improve the Lifecycle reliability, operability and cost for our customer base. They will work with the Product and Services sales teams to create territory management plans, target key accounts, develop opportunities, create the targeted value story and close the opportunities together with the local team

Essential Responsibilities:         

In addition this individual will:


– Promote the successful sale of CSA/MYA service offerings with the product and service sales teams


– Own the Operating Plan identification and execution for CSA growth in the target region for key accounts and large/strategic opportunities including new commitments and CM% growth


– Lead the region as the Outcome Selling champion – focusing on bringing territory management, strategic selling and account planning skills into the region and holding the team accountable for using them through CSA growth


– Translate customer requirements, KPI and needed outcomes into value propositions focused on expanding the GE Distributed Power relationship from transactional to Lifecycle focused


– Manage complex issues within the functional area of expertise


– Contribute to the overall business strategy and long term planning including


– Provide leadership across the sales & product management teams to achieve business objectives


– Track and provide report out on specific business metrics established by management


– Present high-risk projects to Sales Leadership & Product Management for discussion and approval prior to quotation



– Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university

– Minimum 5 years sales experience in Gas Turbine and/or Reciprocating Engine Segments

– Aero derivative and or Power Gen gas turbine experience in sales, commercial operations, or product management

– Working knowledge of Power Generation, Oil & Gas and Industrial segments

– Ability to work effectively in matrix organization; exceptional interpersonal and customer skills

– Passion for the customer & creating value for them

– Ability to work collaboratively in fast-paced organization

– Experienced with Strategic Selling, Value Selling and/or Outcome Selling methodologies including Miller Heiman or similar
